The first way most entrepreneurs and business owners tend to promote their business is posting to Facebook and Instagram. These options can help get sales, but it is also a heavily saturated platform. Therefore there are many other businesses and entrepreneurs fighting for the same spot; not to mention those that are actually on the platform may not be looking to purchase, but looking for family members, entertainment and/or self help opportunities.

Here are some organic and paid options for increasing the traffic to your website to for potential sales.

Tik Tok 

I saw a video of a E-Commerce professional test out selling a new product online. He did not see conversions posting on Instagram or Facebook, but he received his first sale posting on Tik Tok. Tik Tok is a trending app and does not seem to be wavering; not to mention they are putting tons of money into growing the platform. Get you video skills together and post on Tik Tok.

Another option with Tik Tok is the paid ads option. It is similar to Facebook ads manager and allows you to target your audience and send them to a landing page.

Facebook Ads

Content creation is a popular niche and if you are good at creating content that converts sales then go for it, but an ad allows you to bring in a more consistent income. Once you find the winning ad and the target audience, you no longer have to create content because the algorithm sells for you.

Google Search Engine Results

Search Engine Optimization is marketing task that every business invests in. Simplty put, when someone is looking for your product and/or service, google recommends your website in the order of significant value. This changes the course of a business because these leads are highly likely to convert to a customer because they were already looking for this service.

Google Ads 

Google Ads and Youtube Ads! A platform that seems to be underutilized by the new businesses that enter into the E-Commerce/Social Media sales platform. Google has alot of data from over the years and can retarget audience that have already displayed an interest in your service or display your ad in front of someone that is currently looking for the service/product your are selling.

Email and Text Marketing

Once you build these lists they are golden. You have customers that you can directly reach FOR LIFE! The difference between this and organic reach is that you have no control over what Instagram will show your audience, but with email and text, you send it to everyone.

 

Don’t be overwhelmed by all the methods that are available to promote your product. It is reinvigorating because if you are not good at one thing like creating content, you know that you can create an ad campaign that will still provide results.
